Job summary

Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Hexham is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to uphold the hotel and grounds, delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance to keep the property safe and functional.

The role requires standards-driven individuals with health & safety awareness, people management and project coordination skills; training and development opportunities, and access to employee benefits within The QHotels Collection.

• Previous maintenance or facilities management experience.
• Experience in hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Leading by example, you will maintain the upkeep of the hotel and grounds, ensuring reactive and preventative maintenance is actioned. Make sure the hotel is safe and functional at all times, carry out regular checks and testing, being sure to address any health & safety concerns with the utmost urgency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous maintenance or facilities management experience
• Have worked in a similar role within a hospitality environment
• Standards driven
• Strong compliance and legislation knowledge
• People management experience
• Project management
• Relevant qualifications (health & safety, trade qualifications) preferable, not essential
