Job summary

Franco Manca is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across its estate, working with the Property team, managers and approved contractors. You will manage the PPM programme, coordinate reactive maintenance and use ProNet CAFM to track work orders and contractor performance.

You will ensure compliance with health & safety requirements and support openings, refurbishments, and landlord maintenance matters. A UK-wide driving licence and travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or facilities management across multiple sites.
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance suppliers.
• Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Experience using CAFM systems (ProNet preferred).
• Understanding of health & safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Experience managing budgets and evaluating contractor quotations.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance across the Franco Manca estate.
• Manage the PPM programme across multiple sites.
• Coordinate and monitor reactive maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Use CAFM system (ProNet) to track work orders, maintenance schedules and contractor performance.
• Manage approved contractors, ensuring work completed safely, on time and to standard.
• Support statutory compliance across the estate (gas safety, fire systems, electrical testing, water hygiene).
• Review quotations, monitor maintenance spend and ensure value for money.
• Support restaurant openings, refurbishments and landlord-related maintenance matters.
• Provide regular reporting on maintenance performance, compliance and costs.
• Participate in an out-of-hours escalation rota for critical maintenance issues.

Job description

Maintenance Manager to help keep estate safe, compliant and ready to trade. Working closely with our Property team, Restaurant Managers and approved contractors, you'll play a key role in protecting our restaurants, supporting our teams and ensuring our guests enjoy the best possible experience. If you're an organised, proactive maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and making things happen, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing As Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance across the Franco Manca estate. You'll:

• Support statutory compliance across the estate, including gas safety, fire systems, electrical testing, refrigeration and water hygiene requirements.
• Review quotations, monitor maintenance spend and ensure value for money.
• Support restaurant openings, refurbishments and landlord-related maintenance matters.
• Provide regular reporting on maintenance performance, compliance and costs.
• Participate in an out-of-hours escalation rota for critical maintenance issues.

We're looking for someone who can balance technical knowledge with strong organisation and relationship-building skills.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in maintenance, facilities management or property maintenance within a multi-site environment.
• Experience managing contractors and maintenance suppliers.
• Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Experience using CAFM systems (ProNet experience would be an advantage).
• Understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Experience managing budgets and reviewing contractor quotations.
• Good Excel, Outlook and reporting skills.
• A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving ability.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
