Taff is recruiting a Maintenance Manager to lead its in-house repairs function in Cardiff. You will drive a responsive repairs and voids service, ensuring safe, efficient delivery across all homes while aligning with organisational priorities.

Lead planned maintenance, manage supplier relationships, and deliver value for money. A strong safety culture and knowledge of WHQS/HHSRS are essential to success in this role.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 in a building-related qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering high-quality repairs services.
• Experience planning complex workloads to maximise team productivity.
• Knowledge of WHQS, HHSRS, and WHQS Addendum.

I'm delighted to be exclusively partnering with Taff to recruit a Maintenance Manager to join their Property Services team in Cardiff.

This is a key role within the Property Services Team, leading Taff's in-house repairs function and helping deliver high-quality, safe and efficient maintenance services across all their homes.

The role

Taff is committed to providing good quality, affordable and safe homes, and this role is key to achieving that.

You'll lead and develop a high-performing, customer-focused responsive repairs and voids service, ensuring repairs are delivered safely, efficiently and compliantly, while meeting the needs of tenants and organisational priorities.

You'll have overall responsibility for:

• Responsive repairs and voids
• Planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
• Fleet operations
• Supplier and contractor relationships
• Performance, productivity and service improvement
• Budgets, resources and value for money
• Health and safety, compliance and operational standards

You'll use performance data and customer insight to drive improvement, maximise productivity and ensure resources are used effectively.

What you'll bring to the role

• NVQ Level 3 in a building-related qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience managing and delivering high-quality repairs services
• Experience planning and scheduling complex workloads to maximise team productivity
• Knowledge of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard, including HHSRS and WHQS Addendum
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety and relevant legislation and regulations
• Experience planning and managing budgets effectively to deliver value for moneyAbility to plan complex workloads across a range of trades
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations, or willingness to work towards this
