The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in this mission by performing maintenance, repairs, groundskeeping, and other duties under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include responding to resident service requests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safety standards are met, all while fostering a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare apartments for market readiness, including painting, repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance.
  2. Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance such as painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, and filter replacements.
  3. Maintain community equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  4. Respond promptly and professionally to repair requests from residents and staff.
  5. Report maintenance concerns and hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  6. Respect resident privacy and ensure safety in all maintenance activities.
  7. Deliver superior customer service and represent the company professionally.
  8. Attend training sessions as required.
  9. Work with vendors for landscaping, painting, and other services.
  10. Follow all safety, OSHA, and fair housing laws.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Advanced knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • HVAC certification required.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including on-call, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience.
  • HVAC, EPA, or CPO certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
