You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance, while coordinating with other departments to deliver a safe, high-quality guest experience.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and a proactive maintenance mindset. Flexible availability for on-call duties is expected; compensation is competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a maintenance or engineering management role, ideally within hospitality or a similar setting.
• Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Strong leadership with ability to build motivated, efficient teams.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets and negotiate contracts.
• Organisational and multitasking abilities for urgent issues.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of maintaining the hotel’s high standards and guest spaces, ensuring operations run smoothly.
• Lead and inspire the maintenance team with a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Design and oversee a preventative maintenance programme to extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with departments to address maintenance needs and safety.
• Manage department budget, negotiate contracts, monitor costs.
• Inspect the hotel regularly to ensure safety and aesthetic standards.
• Foster continuous improvement and training within the team.
