Job summary

Global Highland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Joiner to join their Property Maintenance team. You will provide a professional joinery service across tenants' homes and communal areas, handling reactive repairs and planned maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and right-first-time workmanship.

You will diagnose faults, repair or replace doors, frames and joinery components, and maintain records using IT systems.

Qualifications

• Recognised Joinery/Carpentry qualification (SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience in property maintenance, housing, construction or repairs.
• Strong practical joinery and carpentry skills.
• Experience undertaking responsive repairs and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive joinery repairs and maintenance in homes and communal areas.
• Undertake planned maintenance, refurbishment and improvement works.
• Diagnose faults and identify effective repair solutions.
• Repair and install doors, windows, frames, skirting and related components.
• Record works, materials used and follow-ups in IT systems.
• Communicate with tenants and manage expectations professionally.
