Job Description
  • A dedicated focus towards guest experience, ensuring our hotel facilities meet the standards promised.
  • A competent ‘hands-on’ person responsible for maintaining fixtures and fittings in perfect working condition and correcting defects promptly.
  • Carry out emergency repairs affecting guest bedrooms and services immediately.
  • Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from all departments.
  • Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks as needed.
  • Use maintenance tools and equipment safely and store them appropriately.
  • Support health and safety compliance by reporting hazards or risks immediately.
  • Work effectively with contractors or external service providers when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report issues to management.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to urgent repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
