Job Description

• A dedicated focus towards guest experience, ensuring our hotel facilities always meet the standards promised.
• A competent ‘hands-on’ person who will ensure fixtures and fittings are maintained in perfect working condition and assures any defects are corrected promptly.
• Someone who will always carry out emergency repairs affecting guest bedrooms and services with an immediate effect.
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from all departments.
• Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately.
• Support health and safety compliance, reporting hazards or risks immediately.
• Work effectively with contractors or external service providers when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly to urgent repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and using maintenance tools and equipment.
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
