Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to carry out routine upkeep and repairs across our holiday parks near Pevensey. You’ll tackle plumbing, carpentry, electrical tasks, and general DIY duties to keep facilities safe and inviting for guests.

You’ll also maintain grounds, record work details, and ensure health and safety compliance, with weekend/holiday shifts as required. DBS check is required; join a friendly team delivering great holiday experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance and basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs.
• Practical DIY skills and ability to use hand tools and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and keep accurate records.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance across the holiday park facilities.
• Perform repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to maintain service levels.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks to keep outdoor areas inviting.
