Nicholas Associates in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Maintenance Gas Engineer to join our team in Luton. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial and domestic sites, ensuring work is performed safely and in line with current legislation and industry standards.

You will service, repair and install gas appliances and heating systems, perform gas safety checks, and maintain accurate records while working across multiple sites and meeting SLAs.

Competenze

• Gas safety knowledge and compliance with standards.
• Experience with servicing and maintaining gas heating systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and safety regs.

Mansioni

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and installation works.
• Servicing and maintaining gas boilers, heating systems, pipework and gas-fired water heaters.
• Working on gas-fired air handling units, radiant tube heaters and controls and safety devices.
• Completing gas safety checks, testing and certification in line with Gas Safe regulations.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on gas systems and associated equipment.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
• Preparing quotations for repair and installation works, including labour and materials.
• Travelling between multiple sites to complete allocated works.
• Maintaining accurate job records and updating the CAFM system.
• Ensuring all work meets agreed SLAs and health and safety requirements.
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
