Job summary

Jark Plc is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs across a range of commercial gas and heating systems.

Role involves travelling to commercial client sites across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, ensuring all equipment is maintained safely and efficiently. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant commercial gas qualifications and current ACS certifications.
• Proven experience in commercial gas servicing and maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of commercial heating systems and associated plant.
• Knowledge of current gas safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing of commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and identify opportunities to improve system performance.
• Service and maintain commercial boilers, burners and associated plant equipment.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with current gas safety legislation, industry standards and company procedures.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and job sheets accurately.
• Identify and report any defects, safety concerns or remedial works required.
• Liaise with clients, facilities management teams and colleagues to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
