WeDo Business Services Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover planned and reactive maintenance across client sites in the North West. You will fault-find on commercial gas-fired appliances, service boilers and AHUs, and perform gas safety checks within regulatory scope.

Essential qualifications include a mechanical/building services apprenticeship and current commercial gas ACS qualifications. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites are required.

Qualificações

• Trade apprenticeship in mechanical, plumbing, heating or building services.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and faultfinding on commercial gas-fired appliances and heating systems.
• Current commercial gas ACS qualifications and Gas Safe registration verification required.

Responsabilidades

• Attend planned maintenance visits and reactive callouts, identifying faults and completing repairs safely.
• Service, diagnose and repair commercial gas-fired boilers, burners and heating systems within qualifications.
• Carry out gas safety checks, testing and certification within scope of current gas categories.
• Undertake plumbing and heating installation and repairs including water services and valves.
• Service AHUs and ventilation equipment; inspect, clean filters and lubricate moving parts.
• Investigate mechanical faults and escalate electrical or refrigeration issues when needed.
• Complete small installations, test work and ensure safe operation.
• Prepare clear defect notes and quotations with photos and details.
• Communicate progress and safety concerns to managers and clients promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicles; participate in on-call rota.
