Andy File Associates Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Gas Engineer – Mobile on behalf of a client for a permanent role in the Norwich area. The role covers planned and reactive gas maintenance across commercial and domestic sites, with a company vehicle and call-out rota.
You will work to high safety standards, perform gas safety checks, and provide accurate quotations while adhering to SLAs and CAFM updates. This is a field-based, permanent position within a growing FM provider.
Pay Rate: £23.08 per hour - £45,009.00 pa
Location: Norwich - Mobile
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

As a Maintenance Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive gas maintenance across a variety of customer sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
We're looking for an experienced Gas Engineer who is confident working independently across a range of gas and heating systems and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience in gas servicing, maintenance, fault finding and installation
Experience across commercial and/or domestic environments
HVAC and associated controls experience would be advantageous
Strong understanding of gas safety legislation and relevant industry standards
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
Good written and verbal communication skills
IT literacy, including the ability to use CAFM or similar systems
A full UK driving licence
Flexible and self-motivated approach to work
Strong customer-service focus
Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota
