Job description

The role supports the business in supplying packaged materials to the market through proactive and reactive maintenance and engineering support. It functions within a department that offers specialist support to maximize production and maintain core company assets, with a primary focus on legal requirements and Heidelberg Materials compliance.

Key accountabilities

3. Full Compliance with National Integrated Management System (IMS)
4. Proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) aligned with site requirements
5. Maintaining high standards of workmanship
6. Promoting continuous improvement and a positive culture

Education/Qualifications

• Ideally NVQ level qualified
• Time-served apprenticeship or training with relevant experience
• Preferably hold a Counterbalance Forklift and MEWP license
• Minimum IOSH safety certificate; training can be provided
• Ideally trained in risk assessment and risk management principles

What's on Offer

• Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
• Overtime: Time and a half weekday, Saturday time and a half, Sundays and bank holidays double time
