Job description

Join to apply for the Maintenance Fitter - Night Shift role at Wright Engineering.

Role: To ensure that all plant, equipment, and services are safely maintained in line with the company's PPM system and to fulfill all statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with CMMS system.
  2. Report any observations/concerns arising from a PPM activity.
  3. Carry out corrective actions quickly to keep plant downtime to a minimum.
  4. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  5. Suggest and implement plant improvements.
  6. Monitor and request spares in a timely manner to maintain plant and equipment.
  7. Accurately complete documentation to enable a traceable and auditable route.
  8. Participate in cross-functional task teams to improve machine/process reliability.
  9. Assist in internal or external audits.
  10. Share knowledge with the team to improve overall capability.
  11. Supervise contractors when required, ensuring safe work practices and compliance with RAMS.
  12. Attend toolbox talks for quick communication of issues.
  13. Interact daily with maintenance, operations, and yard staff to understand business needs.
  14. Undertake reasonable tasks as allocated by the company.
