Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their engineering team in a Monday-Friday day shift. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability and safety while supporting production.

Key duties include diagnosing faults, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and maintaining thorough records. The position offers an attractive £50,000 base with overtime and benefits, and a modern, renovated facility.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Undertake reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain, repair and service mechanical and electrical process equipment, ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and fully operational.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective long-term solutions.
• Complete routine inspections and equipment checks, identifying potential issues before they develop into major breakdowns.
• Accurately complete maintenance records, documenting work carried out, faults identified and any required follow-up actions.
• Support production teams with machinery breakdowns, equipment adjustments, changeovers and machine setups.

We are exclusively assisting in engineering across a manufacturing company. With a recently renovated facility they are now looking to invest in their maintenance team.

The main responsibilities of the Maintenance Fitter will include.
