Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is pleased to present a Maintenance Engineer role at a market-leading manufacturing facility in the Gloucester area. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve a wide range of factory equipment across mechanical and electrical systems.

This day-shift position offers £55,000 plus benefits including enhanced overtime, a quarterly bonus, private health cover, and generous holiday. You will work on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime
• Work on a variety of standard factory machinery including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and provide training where needed

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Working across both mechanical and electrical systems, you’ll be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of factory equipment.
