Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing team in the UK. The role focuses on delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of factory equipment to ensure high efficiency and minimal downtime.

The successful candidate will perform planned and reactive maintenance, lead electrical fault finding, and support continuous improvement initiatives to boost safety and performance on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
• Lead on electrical fault finding, with supporting mechanical maintenance duties.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment.
• Work with electrical systems alongside hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, quality, and operational performance.
• Support production teams with fault finding, machine setups, and training when required.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll support the smooth running of production by delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of factory equipment. You’ll be a key part of ensuring efficiency, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
• Take a lead on electrical fault finding, with supporting mechanical maintenance duties
• Maintain and repair a variety of standard factory machinery including conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment
• Work with electrical systems alongside hydraulics and pneumatics
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, quality, and operational performance
• Support production teams with fault finding, machine setups, and provide training when required
