Job summary

Stonehaven Care Group is recruiting a Maintenance Team Manager to oversee maintenance and compliance services across the group's care homes. You will manage the maintenance team, coordinate with the Facilities & Purchasing Director, and drive a proactive maintenance programme.

The role requires strong leadership, project planning, budgeting, and the ability to develop robust maintenance strategies across multiple sites. Hybrid working with regular site visits is provided.

Qualifications

• Maintenance/Facilities experience across multiple sites.
• Proven skills in project planning, budgeting, and implementation.
• Ability to supervise and delegate work across a group.
• Strong networking and relationship-building with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve premises, grounds and facilities across the group.
• Create and manage a robust maintenance programme for each location.
• Undertake bi-monthly maintenance visits to each care home.
• Review, manage and action planned and reactive maintenance.
• Provide technical and administrative support to Maintenance Team.
• Supervise and conduct performance reviews of Maintenance staff.
• Diagnose repairs on-site or by phone and raise detailed work orders.
• Lead safety inspections including fire door safety across homes.
