Job summary
McDonald’s United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Person to uphold cleanliness, safety and excellent service across the restaurant. You will support day-to-day upkeep, coordinate with contractors, and help ensure smooth operations during shifts across Early Mornings, Afternoons and Evenings.
The role offers full training, flexible weekday/weekend hours, and a friendly team environment within our busy restaurant network.
Qualifications
- Availability to work across Weekdays and Weekends.
- No experience required; full training will be given.
Responsibilities
- Inspect the restaurant’s interior and exterior to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Carry out maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, varnishing, and minor non-electrical repairs.
- Maintain and monitor parking facilities for a safe and welcoming environment.
- Organise, receive, and rotate food deliveries to support freshness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with management to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Coordinate with external contractors for timely repairs with minimal disruption.
- Keep equipment and facilities in prime working condition.
- Follow all workplace safety, hygiene and operational procedures.
