Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Shift Leader

Location: Coalville

Shift Pattern: Panama Shift Pattern (Days and Nights)

Salary: up to £52,000 + Benefits

Our client, a global leader in automation solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Shift Leader to join their onsite team at a major customer site in Coalville. This role offers a significant leadership opportunity within a highly automated, cutting-edge environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians.
2. Serve as the main liaison between the customer and the engineering team during your shift.
3. Plan and execute preventive maintenance, including inspections, adjustments, and spare part replacements.
4. Diagnose and resolve faults through corrective maintenance.
5. Document activities and faults using the CMMS system.
6. Manage shift handovers and prepare detailed shift reports.
7. Support spare parts logistics and contribute to warehouse organization.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Candidate requirements:

1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
