Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a maintenance engineer role at a well-established manufacturing site. You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across machinery and infrastructure to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing with strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Willingness to travel to Elis locations or training facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing/production maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Experience with electrical circuits, pneumatics and hydraulics

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery, equipment and infrastructure to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, identify root causes and implement repairs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and site infrastructure to high standards for efficiency and reliability.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and site performance.
• Build strong relationships with Production and site teams and communicate issues clearly.
• Ensure maintenance activities follow Health & Safety requirements and engineering standards.
• Complete inspections, PPM records and documentation using CMMS accurately.
• Contribute to equipment upgrades, remedial works and broader engineering projects.
• Work on a continental shift pattern – 4 on 4 off (days & nights).
