Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting on behalf of a well established client in the UK manufacturing sector for an Engineering Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for reliability of equipment by carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding, repair and monitoring & testing.

You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and support improvements to enhance equipment reliability and site performance while

Qualifications

• Strong practical mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
• Experience with electrical circuits, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement safe repairs.
• Experience maintaining site machinery and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CMMS and recording maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in engineering.
• Ability to travel to other Elis locations or training facilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across site machinery, equipment and infrastructure.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, identify root causes and implement repairs safely and efficiently.
• Help ensure equipment and site infrastructure are maintained to a high standard and operating efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and site performance.
• Build relationships with Production and site teams and communicate issues effectively.
• Ensure activities follow Health & Safety requirements and relevant engineering standards.
• Complete inspections, PPM records and engineering documentation using CMMS.
• Contribute to equipment upgrades and wider engineering projects.
