Job summary

You will be involved in repairs, routine testing, and planned maintenance of plant machinery, while helping to manage spares and contribute to KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Electrical biased role; experience with PLCs and automation systems is highly desirable.
• Experience of maintenance engineering gained in the manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and routine testing of plant machinery.
• Maintain an adequate level of workshop spares and support stock control.
• Complete planned maintenance work orders.
• Ensure all auditable paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance and assist in preventative maintenance development.
• Understand and support KPI improvements.

Education
