Job summary

Zachary Daniels are recruiting an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join a long-standing manufacturing site in South Lanarkshire.

You will work on a rotating shift pattern (early, back, night) 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 & 22:00 - 06:00, performing planned preventive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and PLC systems, and supporting process and quality engineering teams.

Qualifications

• A time served apprenticeship.
• Experience of maintenance gained in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience of fault finding on PLC systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Electrical fault finding.
• Fault finding on PLC systems.
• General electrical / mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities.
• Working closely with the process engineering and quality engineering teams.
• Supporting colleagues with project work.
