Job summary

Zachary Daniels are recruiting on behalf of a major FMCG site in North Lanarkshire for a Senior Maintenance Engineer. You will lead a maintenance team, plan and execute tasks to keep production equipment running reliably and safely.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will drive continuous improvement, mentor engineers and collaborate with production to optimise performance, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (06:30–19:00).

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering leadership within manufacturing or food production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering team members.
• Initiate and manage maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation.
• Promote safety-first culture and compliance with H&S regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
• Coach and develop the team to enhance capabilities.
• Document maintenance activities and track performance for improvements.
