Job summary

ConTrust Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer in West Sussex to join the team and keep manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently and reliably.

You will work with Production and Technical teams to maintain mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment, diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance and support new installations. This hands-on role focuses on improving reliability and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and planned preventive maintenance across site machinery and equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and restore machinery to safe operation.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and testing of new machinery and upgrades.
• Monitor machinery performance using data to identify trends and improve reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
