A Nottingham-based food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for night shifts. This role requires providing critical engineering support to enhance the production area's efficiency, including both proactive and reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of mechanical and electrical expertise, contributing to a team-driven environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified maintenance engineer with relevant certifications required.
• Multi skilled in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Apprenticeship trained is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and proactive maintenance for plant and equipment.
• Assist team to maximize equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents.

A Nottingham based food manufacturing company are seeking an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm NIGHTS for their modern production facility based in South Nottingham.

As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.

Role

• Multi skilled, will consider elec or mech biased engineers
• 3on / 3off – Nights only (12 hour shifts) (6-6)
• Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer
• Salary of c£54,500
  
  

Key Responsibilities Of Maintenance Engineer

• Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
• Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
• Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
• Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
• Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
  
  

Experience And Skills Required

• Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
• Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
• Apprenticeship trained
• Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
• Manufacturing / production experience required
