BASIC SALARY: up to £50,000

BENEFITS:

LOCATION: Home based you will be covering the whole UK.

You can live anywhere in England although a Midlands or Northern England location would be preferred if you are not commutable to their office in Norfolk.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Norwich, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Peterborough, Nottingham.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer – HFFS, VFFS, Head weighing machinery – Food Industry

This is a classic Field Service Engineer role working on client sites to repair or refurbish (70%) and to install and commission new machinery (30%).

Home based and working on client sites, you will be expected to travel and stay away for 2 to 3 nights per week with occasional trips to Europe and very occasional weekend work will be required.

Overtime is paid door to door.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer – HFFS, VFFS, Head weighing machinery – Food Industry

· You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer AND have specific experience of working on packaging or process machinery used in the food industry.
· The company will consider an experienced food factory Maintenance Engineer with hands on experience of working on packaging or process machinery.
· You MUST be a qualified Electrical and/or Electronic Engineer with hands on mechanical experience and the ability to fault find on PLC`s.
·You will ideally be commutable to their office in Norfolk but if not living in the Midlands or Northern England.
