Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a well-established FMCG business in the UK. You will work with modern equipment, perform reactive and preventative maintenance, and contribute to safety and housekeeping standards.

The role offers enhanced overtime, ongoing training, and a generous holiday allowance, with a salary around £60k–£65k per year. The working pattern is 4 on, 4 off with strong team support.

Qualifications

• NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds in engineering is essential.
• Completed engineering apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualifications.
• Strong electrical, PLC fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Previous FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to problem-solve and work under pressure.
• Military engineering backgrounds (Army, RAF, Navy) are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive, planned preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and PLC faults.
• Complete installations and provide detailed maintenance reports via CMMS.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
• Manage engineering spares and consumables.

Location: Telford
Salary:Over £55,500 + enhanced overtime (60 - 65K/annum)
Shift: 4 on, 4 off

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• NVQ, BTEC or City & Guilds qualification in engineering; HNC advantageous.
• Completed engineering apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualifications.
• Strong electrical, PLC fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Previous FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Military engineering backgrounds, including Army, RAF and Royal Navy

You will have current or recent experience as maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi-skilled engineer, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, electrical technician, mechanical fitter, electrical or shift engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer, service engineer
