Pioneer Selection Ltd in the West Midlands are seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a fast-growing FMCG site in Wednesbury. This role focuses on electrical bias, root-cause analysis and minimizing downtime across filling, can-seaming and packaging lines.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, improve reliability, and support machinery upgrades in a busy production environment.

Qualifikationen

• Strong electrical fault-finding (plus solid mechanical ability).
• Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Non-UK qualification, equivalency may be required.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled - Electrical Bias)

Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands

Salary: £50,000 (OTE £56,000+)

Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, No Nights)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-growing FMCG manufacturing site with recent investment and further plans for new machinery. This is a great role for someone who enjoys getting to root cause, driving improvements, and keeping a busy production environment running smoothly.

You'll be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance across production machinery including filling, can-seaming, packing and blow moulding equipment, supporting reliability and minimising downtime.

Sector - Factory Maintenance (Food Manufacturing)

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience with an electrical bias within an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical fault-finding (plus solid mechanical ability)
• Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

If non-UK qualification, equivalency may be required

A proactive attitude - someone who enjoys improvements and problem-solving

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Backgrounds considered, including Forces
• Experience within UK manufacturing (food experience beneficial but not essential)
