Job summary

Sherborne Talent Solutions in Belfast is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer (Mechatronics) for an on-site role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will diagnose and repair automated machinery, drive uptime and performance improvements, and contribute to TPM and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

You’ll play a key role in:

• Keeping high-speed production lines running smoothly
• Driving equipment reliability, uptime, and performance
• Contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency projects
• Acting as a key technical expert within a highly automated shopfloor

Technical Focus

• Responding quickly to breakdowns in a high-volume production environment
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on automated machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and control faults
• Working closely with production teams to optimise machine performance and reduce downtime
• Supporting TPM and continuous improvement initiatives (downtime, OEE, efficiency)
• Managing spare parts and supporting cost control
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and driving follow-up actions
