Job summary

Sherborne Talent Solutions is recruiting a hands-on Maintenance Engineer (Mechatronics) for a Belfast-based, on-site role in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You’ll troubleshoot complex equipment, perform planned maintenance, and drive reliability.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, experience with automated machinery, and a proactive mindset. You’ll support TPM, contribute to continuous improvement, and work shifts with overtime as needed.

• Driving equipment reliability, uptime, and performance

Technical Focus

• Responding quickly to breakdowns in a high-volume production environment
• Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance on automated machinery
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and control faults
• Working closely with production teams to optimise machine performance and reduce downtime
• Supporting TPM and continuous improvement initiatives (downtime, OEE, efficiency)
• Managing spare parts and supporting cost control
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and driving follow-up actions
