Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) in Leominster. Salary £41,000 - £46,000 with training, progression, and life assurance. The role is based on a two-week rotating shift pattern, supporting a leading food manufacturer.

You will work on preventative and reactive maintenance, helping to minimise downtime and keep the plant running smoothly, with opportunities for funded training and career development.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer with mechanical or electrical background.
• Experience in preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• PPM and RM of food production machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with internal maintenance projects.
• Ensure health and safety standards are obtained.
• 2 week rotating shift pattern with early and late shifts, occasional weekends and paid overtime.
