AVK Corby, part of AVK Group, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to sustain and improve manufacturing plant equipment. You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and support maintenance planning to minimise downtime.

The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical fault-finding, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and quality. Hours are 37.5 per week with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
• Hands-on, practical approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads.

• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and effectively.
• Assist with design/development of electrical interfaces for test equipment where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
• Source and order maintenance parts and consumables per procedures.
• Manage maintenance stores, tools and equipment.
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics and specifications.
