Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a long-established food manufacturing business near Boston, Lincolnshire, recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing). The role offers a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (days/nights) from 07:00–19:00 / 19:00–07:00, with £50,000–£54,000 plus overtime, training, progression and an OTE up to £60,000.

Do you have a mechanical or electrical engineering background within a manufacturing environment? Are you looking to join an established business, working a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, where you will receive upskilling training, benefit from long-term progression opportunities, and have the option to boost your earnings through overtime? The company has invested heavily into its operations and infrastructure and is now looking for engineers to help support continued growth, modernisation, and improvement across the site.

In this varied role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across automated production equipment, you will diagnose breakdowns, minimise downtime, complete maintenance records, and work closely with production teams to improve reliability, safety, and equipment performance.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience who is looking for a 4 on 4 off shift role, ongoing training, overtime, and the chance to develop within a growing FMCG manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery and site equipment
• Fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPM
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights, 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am

The Person

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Maintenance Engineer, or similar
• Experience with FMCG, manufacturing, production machinery, or packaging equipment
• Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified
