Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Fitter) in Lockerbie. The role includes 12-hour rotating days and night shifts with a salary up to £42,000 plus a company pension, life assurance, 23 days holiday, bank holidays, and parking.

You will maintain and service machinery, work within a fitters team and report to the team leader, focusing on fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance to keep production running at optimum efficiency.

Qualifications

• Mechanically biased maintenance background in medium/heavy industrial settings.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, repairing or adjusting machinery.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance activities, fault finding and PPMs on production machinery.
• Upgrades, modifications and optimisation adjustments to keep equipment running.
• Work as part of a fitter team on rotating shifts reporting to a team leader.

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Fitter)

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer who can offer long term career stability and who have a great reputation for their products.

The role will suit mechanically biased Maintenance Engineers ideally with a medium/heavy industrial background who have experience with servicing / maintaining / repairing /adjusting machinery. You will have experience of hydraulics and pneumatics.

You will carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of production machinery. You will work as part of a team of fitters and plant operators on shift reporting to the team leader working to ensure all production machinery is fully optimised and functional. On the job training and development will be given on the specific production machinery.

The Maintenance Engineer Role:

• General maintenance activities, fault finding, PPM's, upgrades and modifications as well as optimisation adjustments, ensuring the day to day maintenance tasks are carried out safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Rotating shift pattern 12 hour days and nights

The Maintenance Engineer:

• Mechanical Maintenance experience ideally from a medium / heavy industrial background.
