Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Shift Mechanical Fitter for a Lockerbie-based site on a rotating 12-hour shift (days and nights). The role involves maintenance on production machinery and teamwork with fitters and plant operators to keep equipment running at peak performance.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical maintenance experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, capable of fault finding, reactive and planned maintenance, and making safe, effective improvements on the line.

Qualifications

• Experience with servicing / maintaining / repairing / adjusting machinery.
• Experience of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to fault find on production equipment and support planned maintenance.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance activities, fault finding, PPMs, upgrades and modifications to keep day-to-day tasks safe, effective and efficient.
• Reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of production machinery.
• Work as part of a fitters and plant operators team on rotating 12-hour days/nights under the team leader.
