Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Leicester is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a heavy industrial manufacturing operation. You will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement projects within a collaborative team.

The role covers 3-Phase electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC fault-finding, and a rotating shift pattern (earlies, lates, nights).

Qualifications

• Must have electrical bias as a maintenance engineer.
• Experience with PLC fault-finding is essential.
• Previous work in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair and breakdown response to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Work as part of a team; adapt to rotating shift pattern including nights.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Multi-Skilled

Location: Leicester

Salary: Basic up to £48,000 plus Benefits

Shift: Earlies, Lates and Nights - 5 week Rotating

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

You will be responsible for maintenance, repair, breakdown and the smooth operation of the manufacturing equipment as well as an active role in continuous improvement projects.

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.
• Hold some form of Electrical qualification.

Requirements

• Ideally worked within a manufacturing environment previously.
• Worked to 3-Phase Electrics as well as sound hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge and experience.
• PLC Fault-Finding experience.
• Be a self-starter as well as a team player.
• Be willing to work a Earlies, Lates & Nights shift pattern. You will only do 1 week of Night Shift every 5 weeks.
