Qualifications

• Previous maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or similar.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair capabilities.
• Proactive problem-solving under pressure.
• Engineering qualification such as NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment to maximise uptime.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with food industry compliance standards.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and reliability.
• Work with production and engineering colleagues to maintain smooth operational performance.
