Job summary

A Maintenance Engineer position is available with Ata-Recruitment-Ltd near Nottingham. You will support a major FMCG operation, handling reactive and preventive maintenance to keep production lines running and maximize output.

The role emphasizes electrical fault-finding, ownership of workshop tools, and adherence to health and safety. Shift patterns include Panama Days and Nights with opportunities for progression within a large retail/fmcg environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electrical qualification is required.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work to food safety and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth factory operation by performing reactive and planned maintenance.
• Fault-finding on electrical and mechanical components.
• Manage workshop tools and stock, and order supplies when needed.
• Check I/O signals, read schematics and HMI screens; no programming required.
