Job summary
ROMAC LOGISTICS in Middleton (M24) seeks an experienced General Maintenance Engineer to cover multiple sites across the UK. You will perform maintenance, repairs and preventative tasks with a strong focus on electrical and plumbing systems, while delivering work safely and to budget.
The role requires a practical, hands-on approach, reliability, and the ability to travel nationally. A full UK driving licence is essential and the position offers a varied workload within an established transport
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Hands-on, practical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Reliable, organized and able to work independently.
- Full, clean UK driving licence required.
- Willingness to undertake national travel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full schedule of works, on time and to budget.
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and plumbing issues.
- Respond to maintenance requirements across sites.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Undertake national travel as required.
