Job summary

Wolviston Management Services is supporting a client in Teesside to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer for their established engineering team. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of plant and CNC machinery, with a focus on reliability, fault diagnosis and continuous improvement.

You will work hands-on in a busy manufacturing environment, carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding, maintaining records and supporting lean initiatives to maximise

Qualifications

• Completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship within a mechanical and/or electrical discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, maintenance or engineering environments.
• Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with machine tools and CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical diagnostics.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Support modifications and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure safe systems of work and good housekeeping.
