Job summary
Wolviston Management Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the Teesside engineering team. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and improve equipment reliability in a busy manufacturing environment.
The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and offers a permanent, full-time position. The ideal candidate has a time-served apprenticeship and strong hands-on mechanical/electrical experience, including CNC machinery and
Qualifications
- Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical and/or electrical discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing/maintenance/engineering environment.
- Strong hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills.
- Experience with machine tools and CNC machinery.
- Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment.
- Diagnose faults and perform effective mechanical/electrical repairs.
- Maintain and repair factory equipment including CNC machinery.
- Support Lean manufacturing improvements and 5S/PDCA initiatives.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
