Job Description:

Manpower Print & Packaging Division is excited to present a new opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) to join their team in Rotherham. The role involves working a static afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on plant machinery independently under pressure.
2. Perform planned preventative maintenance and keep accurate records according to schedules and standards.
3. Record maintenance activities and spare part usage in SAP to ensure data accuracy.
4. Follow work instructions and maintain workplace orderliness.
5. Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers to improve teamwork and performance.
6. Support continuous improvement through problem-solving and collaboration.
7. Conduct electrical and mechanical installations in compliance with current legislation and standards.
8. Develop fault-finding processes and demonstrate skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as needed.

Job Specific Skills:

1. Trade qualification with strong fault-finding skills.
2. Experience with PLC systems, process and equipment software, drives, motors, and interpreting complex electrical schematics.
3. Experience with extrusion or mailer machines is advantageous.
