Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) based in the UK. The role is workshop based and commutable from Yeovil, Taunton, Chard, Axminster, Crewkerne and surrounding areas.

You will maintain production machinery across the site and report to the Site Manager, with a Monday-Friday shift pattern (6:00-14:00/14:00-22:00). The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds, 18th Edition) are desirable.
• Ex-Forces candidates encouraged to apply and will be trained.

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Workshop Based, commutable from Yeovil, Taunton, Chard, Axminster, Crewkerne, and surrounding areas.

£40,000 - £44,500 + 20% Shift Allowance + Double Days Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00/ 14:00 to 22:00) + No Weekend Work + 25 Days Holiday + up to 10% Pension + Life Assurance + Progression + Training

The Role:

The Person:

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance background
• Manufacturing, production, or industrial background
• Ex-Forces candidates (REME, Royal Navy, RAF, Avionics, etc.) are encouraged to apply and will be offered training
• Knowledge of health and safety practices
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, City & Guilds, 18th Edition)
