Imperium Recruitment LTD is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias for a busy manufacturing site in the heart of Leicester. You will maintain, fault-find, and improve production machinery to maximise uptime while responding to breakdowns to keep operations running smoothly.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off rotating schedule with days and nights. A generous £60,000 annual salary accompanies excellent benefits including pension, staff discount, cycle to work and gym

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical qualification or equivalent.
• Time served apprenticeship demonstrated.
• Good understanding of Siemens / Allen Bradley controls.
• Knowledge of SCADA control systems.
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and manufacturing GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks of maintenance activities.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Adhere to Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Respond to breakdowns to ensure smooth operation.
• Record work accurately and update CMMS.
• Collaborate with colleagues to prioritise faults.
• Maintain orderly and safe working practices.

We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join the engineering team at a busy manufacturing site in the Heart of Leicester.

Joining the Engineering Team you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and improving production machinery to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency while responding to breakdowns ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Quality Checks of maintenance activities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance
• Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times
• Demonstrate hands on ownership and confidence when responding to breakdowns
• Prioritise system faults
• Accurately record work carried out
• Collaborate with colleagues
• Ensure CMMS is correctly updated
