Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer in the United Kingdom to keep production running smoothly across mechanical and electrical systems. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve a wide range of factory equipment.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency and minimal downtime. Training and support for production teams may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance in manufacturing environments is desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical fault-finding.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery.
• Ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
• Work on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated equipment.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve safety.
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and training when needed.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Working across both mechanical and electrical systems, you’ll be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of factory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime
• Work on a variety of standard factory machinery including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and provide training where needed
