Eko Talent is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading renewable energy technology producer in the UK. The role covers both mechanical and electrical maintenance across a wide range of factory equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and improvements, with emphasis on safety, efficiency and reducing downtime, with day shift Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime
• Work on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and training

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Working across both mechanical and electrical systems, you'll be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of factory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime
• Work on a variety of standard factory machinery including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and provide training where needed
