Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading manufacturing facility in Edinburgh. You will help keep production running smoothly by maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.

Working Monday to Friday day shift, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes and compressors, ensuring safe, efficient operation with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all production machinery
• Ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime
• Work on a variety of standard factory machinery including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production equipment
• Maintain and repair systems involving electrics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve safety
• Assist production teams with machine setups, fault finding, and provide training where needed

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Working across both mechanical and electrical systems, you'll be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of factory equipment.
